Among the rather complex and original fun for Shrovetide - pole-riding. Such fun requires some preparation. On a snow hill it is necessary to lay two smooth poles 15-20 m long each about 1 m apart. The surface of the slide must be well tamped. The poles are repeatedly watered, so that they are properly frozen and become slippery. Participants in the skating are split into pairs, stand on the poles and try to move down the hill without falling. The more comical the poses of the participants, the more fun the fun goes.

Carnival celebrations rarely do without "shooting" snowballs, so if there is a place in the celebrationsuitable for these purposes, snow, then it is worth taking this opportunity. If it is not lucky, and there is no snow, then instead of snowballs, you can "shoot" with tennis balls. It is possible to compete at the same time: who more participants "will kill" with accurate "shots".
