Recipes for the New Year 2013
Every year there is a place on the New Year's tablefor all favorite festive dishes: salad olivier, herring under the fur coat ... However, the New Year is a wonderful occasion to cook and something new and original. The Country of Soviets offers recipes for the New Year 2013.
The symbol of the coming year is the Black Water Snake. Therefore, the table is advised to serve New Year's dishes from fish and seafood, reminiscent of the water element, to appease the 2013 talisman. So the recipes we offer for the New Year 2013 are recipes for festive fish dishes.
Salmon with mustard and soy sauce
Salmon - fish is not cheap, but when to indulge your little gastronomic weaknesses, how not in the New Year? We suggest you cook steaks from salmon in a marinade of mustard and soy sauce. We will need such products for this:
1 kg of salmon (steaks)
2 tbsp. l. mustard
2 tbsp. l. soy sauce
half a lemon
Salt and pepper - to taste
poppy seeds for breading
For sauce
200 ml of 10% cream
100 ml fish broth or water
40 g of butter
1 tbsp. l. flour
greens, salt, pepper - to taste
Mix mustard with soy sauce, coverreceived steamed marinade from salmon. We squeeze on the steaks lemon juice, salt and pepper to taste. We leave salmon for an hour. After an hour, we pan the steaks in poppies and fry them over medium heat until cooked.
The cream sauce is best served with salmon. For its preparation we put in the saucepan butter and melt on medium heat. We pour cream into the melted butter and water (fish broth). Constantly stirring with whisk, sift in flour, salt and pepper to taste. Remove the finished sauce from the plate, add finely chopped greens (dill, parsley, coriander, etc.).
Baked trout with potatoes
If you bake trout with potatoes, you will get both a second course and a garnish. This will save time, which is always missing when preparing for the New Year! To bake a trout with potatoes in the oven, we take:
trout - 500 g (2 pieces)
Butter - 30 g
large potatoes - 3 pcs.
medium sized onions - 1 pc.
lemon - 1/2 pcs.
mayonnaise - 1 tbsp. l.
mustard - 1 tbsp. l.
vegetable oil - 1 tbsp. l.
water - 1 tbsp. l.
finely chopped herbs (fresh or frozen) - 1 tsp.
salt, ground black pepper - to taste
From the lemon cut two circles, and from the restparts squeeze the juice. Mix lemon juice with mayonnaise, mustard and herbs, salt to taste. We clean the fish, rinse it and dry it with a paper towel. Cutting each carcass of trout halfway across, we smear the fish from all sides with the marinade.
Onions are cleaned, washed and cut into rings. We spread the onion rings on the bottom of the heat-resistant form, from above we put pieces of trout, slightly salt and pepper. Cold butter is cut into small blocks. Each piece of trout is cut in three places and we put in the cuts oil. The rest of the oil is put in the gill slits and inside the stomach. For each piece of fish, put half a bowl of lemon.
We clean the potatoes, wash it and dry it. We cut into large pieces, which we put into the dishes for the microwave oven. Solim and pepper to taste, pour in vegetable oil and water. Mix everything thoroughly, cook in the microwave for 4 minutes at maximum power. You can, of course, just bake the potatoes to half cooked in the oven, but it will be easier and faster.
Potatoes are put on the perimeter of the form forbaking, which already contains trout, a little salt and pepper. We put in a cold oven, let it warm up to 180-190 degrees and bake the trout for 25-30 minutes. In the middle of cooking, cover the form with foil. We remove the prepared fish from the oven, cover and let it cool for 10-15 minutes.
