Cupcakes - small cupcakes decorated on topglaze, fondant and sprinkling in all possible colors and combinations. Home-made sugar scrub in the form of such a capcake, made by yourself, will please you, decorate any bathroom and become an elegant gift for all connoisseurs of home cosmetics.
Ingredients
To make a sugar scrub-capkake with your own hands, you will need:
- 105 g. Of white sugar (not very shallow);
- 25 g. Cocoa powder;
- 10 g of vanilla (ground);
- 75 g of coconut oil (coconut oil at room temperature is similar to chips of solid soap, it's normal, to look for liquid coconut oil is meaningless);
- 25 g. Cocoa butter;
- 10 g of powdered sugar;
- 2 glass bowls with high sides;
- microwave;
- mixer;
- molds-molds in the form of capcasks;
- figured paper for ready-made scrubs (the same as that usually put real cake-baking);
- knife and spoon;
- fork or stirring stick.
Step-by-step instruction
- Step 1. Mix 100 g of sugar, all cocoa powder and 5 grams of vanilla.
- Step 2. In the second bowl, heat 50 g. coconut oil until soft (this will take about 45 seconds with average heating in the microwave oven). It should not turn into liquid! If you have over-oiled, wait a little, stirring it until it cools down and takes on a pasty state.
- Step 3. Lubricate all forms for future "capkeys"coconut oil and transfer to each serving mixture. Forms must be filled on 4/5 - there will still be a top place for decorating, which is customary to do on the capkake. It will be white. Put all the forms in the refrigerator and leave it there for at least 10 minutes.
- Step 4. Now you need to make the top of the capcake. Heat cocoa butter together and coconut oil residues (still for 45 seconds, the mixture should not turn into liquid). Then transfer to that of the bowls, in which there was no mixture with cocoa powder.
Add the rest of the sugar and vanilla and whiskall contents of a bowl with a mixer at maximum speed (this will take about 3-5 minutes). The finished result should be a bit like a whipped protein, just less lush. - Step 5. Get out of the refrigerator forms with workpieces. For each of them put 5 grams of white mixture for the "top" (or more, if you want - the main thing is that it is evenly distributed throughout the scrub). Lightly press them with a spoon and sprinkle with powdered sugar (or a pinch of sugar).
- Step 6. Remove all scrubs in the refrigerator for half an hour. If during this time they are not frozen (check this, just by touching the top with your finger), leave them in the refrigerator for another quarter of an hour.
After you remove the prepared scrubs from the mold with a knife and shift each of them into decorative paper.
Add to the existing mixture and mix thoroughly, but do not use the mixer. The texture at this stage should resemble a porous chocolate dough.
These scrubs-capkake must be stored in the refrigerator,otherwise they can just get spoiled - there are no preserving elements in them. The ones that you will keep in the bathroom before use, it is better to store in a hermetically sealed glass jar. Scrubs made with this recipe, of course, consist of non-toxic materials, but there are still not worth it. Select for them in the fridge a separate space, so that no one confuses the cosmetics with real cake. And try to keep them out of reach of pets - for dogs such natural scrubs will smell like a great treat, but if one piece for a person is completely harmless, then for animals, cocoa powder, as well as a large number of oils in the composition, can affect digestion.
