How to find a job for a student

Sooner or later, before many studentsthere is a problem of employment. At first glance, it is quite easy to find a job for a student, but this is not so. First, it should not seriously interfere with the learning process; secondly, it is desirable (but not necessary) that the activity is somehow related to the profession that you are mastering, and thirdly, the working conditions should be worthy. From here, you can derive several basic parameters that your future job site must match:

• Flexible schedule - part-time, work in shifts or in 2-for-2 mode and the like.

• Loyal attitude of management to working students

• The company is known or is credible

• There is an opportunity for further career growth after graduating from the university - it is relevant in cases when you are satisfied with the profession.

Now many companies are ready to takestudents for part-time work in the summer or on a part-time basis, but not all of them fit these parameters. Immediately recommend to discard ads that promise a lot of money when you work "only a few hours a day," most likely this is a fraud. Also, you should not try to get a job in those places where you take everyone indiscriminately, and the interview is purely formal.

Work on the specialty

If you are more interested in experience and practical skills, than earning money - look for a job related to your future profession. It often happens that managers are ready to take the last year's students to work with a minimum salary. Some large companies may even offer to work for several months without payment as an intern or trainee. Do not immediately reject such proposals, especially if you are interested in experience. After all, a record in the workbook or a summary that you have been practicing in one of the country's largest companies can significantly increase your value in the eyes of future employers. Ideal options are vacancies with little pay for the internship period and a guarantee of employment after graduation.

Temporary work for students

Summer work for students is goodoption to earn money and not be distracted from school. Now there are a lot of options for temporary work, starting from auxiliary workers and ending with work in resorts and other countries. Especially it is worth noting a variety of international programs (in particular, Work and Travel), according to which students can go to work in another country for 3-6 months. In order to participate in this program, you will have to invest a certain amount of money, but this will allow you to earn several times more and, moreover, to visit other countries. The advantage of the program is that you will work in the US or the UK, and after that you can arrange an excursion. Thus, having got a job in a resort or traveling to another country on an international program, you can also fix your financial situation and spend an interesting summer.

Permanent work for students

Before the device for permanent work should beclearly determine the schedule and working conditions. You can work according to the schedule 2 working days, 2 days off (or a week later in a week). This scheme of work is provided in many large retail chains. With such a schedule, it's enough simply to plan your studies and work in such a way as to skip a minimum of classes. However, if you decide to do this, you will have to accept that you will not have days off.

Another option for regular work is a part-time day. Most often this scheme is used in public catering (cafes, restaurants, bars, etc.), as well as all kinds of entertainment venues (clubs, TRC, etc.). The main disadvantage when working with such a schedule is the lack of time for rest during the week. The optimal option in these conditions is quite difficult to distinguish and everyone must decide for himself what is more suitable for him.
