Allergy to cosmetics

Allergy is one of the most commondiseases. Nobody, unfortunately, is immune to allergic reactions, manifested in response to a variety of factors. Women, for example, do not happen so rarely allergy to cosmetics. Why does it arise and how to fight it?
It is difficult to find a woman who does not use decorative and cosmetics cosmetics at all. But, unfortunately, the response to the use of certain cosmetics can be an allergic reaction. It manifests itself in a feeling of tightness of the skin, peeling, redness, rashes, itching, burning and even swelling.
Allergy to cosmetics is of several types. The most "harmless" type is increased sensitivity of the skin (state of reactivity). When applying cosmetic products, skin tightening and tingling are felt, but there are no external signs.
The second type of reaction is contact dermatitis. It appears immediately after applicationcosmetic in redness, peeling, wrinkling of the skin, the appearance of small bubbles, sensitivity and soreness when touched. But pruritus contact dermatitis is not accompanied.
Finally, the third type of reaction is allergic contact dermatitis (actually an allergic reaction). The symptoms are similar to contact dermatitis, but they do not appear immediately, but after a few hours or even days after contact with the allergen. In addition, allergic contact dermatitis, in contrast to a simple contact, is accompanied by an itch of varying intensity.
There is an opinion that an allergy to cosmetics can be caused only by cheap and substandard cosmetic products. In fact, this is not so. Of course, use of low-quality cosmetics, the production of which used aggressive dyes, preservatives and perfumes, increases the risk of allergic reactions. But even the use of natural cosmetics will not insure against allergies.
Allergen can act not only aggressive chemical compounds, but even natural components. In this case, it comes from an individualintolerance: the human body is unpredictable and can respond with an allergic reaction to innocuous substances for most people. Among the most common natural allergens can be identified honey and other bee products, as well as essential oils. And the increased sensitivity of the skin additionally increases the likelihood of an allergic reaction.
Hypoallergenic cosmetics, by the way, are also notpanacea. It actually contains fewer potential allergens, but, as we have already said, an allergic reaction can provoke even the most innocuous substance. So that hypoallergenic cosmetics reduces the risk of allergic reactions, but it can not insure you from them for 100%.
