Polymer clay is a plastic material, fromwhich is easy to do a variety of handicrafts with their own hands even beginner needlewomen. In this photo lesson we will tell you how to make beautiful and original beads from a multi-colored polymer clay with your own hands, which then can be used for making all kinds of jewelry and costume jewelry.
The original striped beads of polymer clay will become a beautiful detail of any decoration - for example, one can make a bracelet, earrings or a necklace.
And in order to learn how to make such beadsalone, you need very little - just a few pieces of clay of different colors, a knife or blade for cutting clay and an ordinary wooden stick or a thick sewing needle. No complicated and expensive tools for sculpting from polymer clay, we do not need.
How to sculpt the beads of polymer clay with your own hands: a step-by-step instruction
To begin, we will prepare all the necessarymaterials - namely, clay of several different colors. For this photo of the lesson we used clay of yellow, chocolate and light brown shades - but, of course, you can choose absolutely any colors, it depends entirely on your imagination.
Now let's start creating a blank for ourfuture beads of polymer clay. We roll each of the colored clay balls with a very thin layer - for this you can use either a special paste-machine, used in modeling of polymer clay, or roll out clay with an ordinary rolling pin.
After all our pieces of clay have turned into thin layers, carefully stack them on each other and level the edges - as a result, we should get here such a neat little pile.
Cut off the resulting blank with a sharp knife or blade vertical layer - the thickness of it should be no more than 2-3 millimeters.
Now we proceed to the actual molding of our beadsfrom polymer clay. First, we prepare the central part of the beads - the core of clay of any color, which will serve as a "filling". We roll clay into thick sausage.
Turn around the resulting cane from clay in"Striped" layer, made by us earlier, carefully rolled up to get a homogeneous product made of polymer clay, and then cut into several pieces - these are almost finished billets of our beads.
We squeeze the edges of each piece, we form a ball - accurate, even movements, so as not to deform the resulting pattern into a strip.
Our beads of polymer clay are almost ready -It remains only to make a hole in each bead (for this purpose you can use an ordinary toothpick or a wooden stick and a thick sewing needle) and bake the finished products. After that, the beads can be used to make any jewelry and jewelry made of plastic.
