If a bride who has Russian citizenship,has a passport with a valid visa and a customs stamp on the legal border crossing, she can immediately go to the Russian consulate in Italy for a certificate that will exclude possible prohibitions and restrictions on the marriage (for example, a divorced marriage to a Russian citizen, etc.). This the document has the name - Nulla Osta al matrimonio (abbreviated to Nulla Osta). The cost of such a document is 27 euros + stamp (marca da bollo), which costs 14.62 euros. However, that's not all. Mandatory legalization by apostille in the prefecture is envisaged. Usually within three days the prefecture returns the legalized properly Nulla Osta.

Marriage with an Italian in Russia
