Baked pumpkin for HalloweenIt's not far off Halloween, which means that it's time to think over the festive table. Pumpkin dishes are ever more actual in this holiday, because it is one of the symbols of the holiday. Baked pumpkin, say, can become a tasty and useful festive dessert.






Baked pumpkin



This recipe - quite simple, even a child can cook a pumpkin for it (naturally, under your watchful eye). We need the following ingredients:



  • small pumpkin - 1 pc.

  • honey - 3 items of l.

  • vegetable oil - 1 tbsp.

  • water - 1 tbsp.

  • salt - 1/8 tsp

  • nutmeg - 1/8 tsp


Pumpkin, cut into halves, and theneach half - in several parts (depending on the size of the pumpkin and the number of servings that we want to get in the end). We remove seeds and rub oil and salt into pumpkin slices.



Pile the pieces of pumpkin on a baking tray and bake infor 45-60 minutes in the oven, preheated to 190 ° C. Ready-made pumpkin should be soft. Mix the water, honey, nutmeg (you can replace it or add it with other spices) and pour the resulting pumpkin sauce before serving.



Baked pumpkin in a pot



You can bake a pumpkin for Halloween and in another way - in a pot, with milk, cinnamon and sour cream. For this we will need:



  • pumpkin - 1,8 kg

  • milk - 2 tbsp.

  • sugar - 1 tbsp.

  • fatty sour cream - 50 g

  • cinnamon - 8 g

  • salt to taste


Pumpkin is peeled and seeded and cutin small pieces. We take a pot for baking and put a pumpkin pulp into it. Pour the milk into the pot, add salt, cinnamon and sugar 3/4 cup). Sprinkle the pumpkin with the remaining sugar, grease with sour cream and bake until the pumpkin is soft.



Baked pumpkin with apples



Apple - another symbol of Halloween, borrowed by the Celts from the Romans. So why not kill two birds with one stone and not bake a pumpkin with apples? For this we will need:



  • pumpkin - 1 kg

  • apples - 4-5 pieces.

  • eggs - 3 pcs.

  • warm milk - 500 ml

  • honey - 1 tbsp.

  • vanilla powder


Apples and pumpkin are peeled and peeled,cut into small cubes. We take the form for baking, we put a pumpkin and apples into it, pour it all over with honey and put it in a preheated oven. Bake until soft, not forgetting to stir occasionally. You do not need to add liquid: the apples themselves will start the juice, but if it is too little, you can still pour some water into the mold.



Whisk egg whites with milk, addvanilla powder and pour into the mold directly on the pumpkin and apples. We put the form in the oven for 4-5 minutes, so that the egg-and-milk mixture "grabbed". The prepared dish is allowed to cool completely, cut into portions and served to the table.



Baked pumpkin with vanilla sauce



Vanilla sauce will give ordinary baked pumpkin a pleasant taste and aroma. To prepare this dish, we need to take:



  • pumpkin - to taste

  • 3 tbsp. milk

  • 0.5 tbsp. Sahara

  • 3 tablespoons flour

  • 2 egg yolks

  • 1-2 bags of vanilla sugar

  • butter - to taste


Pumpkin bake in the oven until soft - whole or cut into large chunks. Ready-made pumpkin let it cool down, cut into pieces and put it into a serving plate.



Prepare the vanilla sauce. To do this, heat two glasses of milk and pour sugar on it. We pour the flour and divorce it in the remaining milk, along with the yolks. Pour in a mixture of milk, flour and eggs a little hot milk with sugar to make the mixture warmer. We pour the mixture into the heated sweet milk, constantly mixing the whisk.



Warm the sauce over low heat until thick, not forgetting to constantly mix. We remove the prepared sauce from the fire, fill it with vanilla sugar and butter and water the pumpkin.
