Cherry jam with mint in the multivark

For the preparation of confiture, cherries are necessarychoose a dense and ripe, without external damage and flaws. If you are preparing a sweet dessert for toddlers, it is better to extract the bones from the berries. Mint in this recipe can be replaced with fresh herbs of lemon balm.





Necessary ingredients:




  • cherry - 1000 gr.


  • mint - 2-3 sprigs


  • refined sugar - 700 gr.




Step-by-step instruction




  1. Preparing the components: rinse the cherry under running water and remove excess moisture, put it in a deep bowl.

  2. To the berries we pour out the necessary amount of sugar.


  3. We add finely chopped leaves of mint, preliminary having torn off them from twigs. Thoroughly mix all the ingredients and leave the mass for 2-3 hours.


  4. We put the cherry-mint blanks into a container, put the multivark on the "Quenching" mode and cook for 45 minutes. We adjust the manufacturing time, depending on the capacity of the furnace.

    On a note! To confiture turned jelly, you can add a bag of gelatin or pectin to the slightly cooled cherry mass. Stir thoroughly and boil the jam for another 2-3 minutes.



  5. We fill the confiture in a glass container, plug it, turn it over and wrap it in a warm cloth. We store the cherry-mint jam in a cool place for 6-7 months.
