In order to take unpaid leave,The employee must write to the head of the organization an application in an arbitrary form. Of course, you can tell the boss that you just want to take a break from your duties and lie around at home on a sofa with a newspaper, or that you want to pay attention to yourself - to go shopping, tanning salons and beauty salons ... But whether the management will appreciate your sincerity is a moot point.
Based on the application and will (or will not)an order has been issued to satisfy your request. Until the head of the organization takes a positive decision to grant you leave, you can not take it. According to the law, you can not give your superiors leave for more than fifteen days. You can not use immediately the maximum period, and take several days during the year. The Labor Code states:
participants in the Great Patriotic War can grant leave up to 35 calendar days a year;
working pensioners in old age (by age) - up to 30 days a year; parents and spouses of servicemen who died or were injured while performing military service - up to 14 days a year;
working disabled people - up to 60 days a year;
employees at the birth of their child,registration of marriage, death of close relatives - up to 5 calendar days; employees admitted to entrance examinations to universities, postgraduate and doctoral studies - 15 calendar days;
students in graduate school without a break from production and successfully fulfilling an individual training plan - the time required for travel to the location of the university and back;
for the preparation and protection of the final qualification work and passing the final state examinations - 4 months, for passing the final state examinations - 1 month;
members of election commissions receive unpaid leave for the period of their performance of the duties assigned to them by decisions of the election commission;
as well as in other cases provided for by federal laws or a collective agreement.
A mother raising two or more children under 15years, can annually take 14 calendar days at his own expense, when he wants. The same leave can be taken by a father who brings up two or more children under the age of 15 without a mother or if she is in a medical institution for a long period of time. The mother of the disabled child is also given a two-week vacation at his own expense once a year. Hospital, taken during the holiday at their own expense, are not paid.
