Panic fear
Numerous fears and phobias are normalthe psychic reaction of the body, aimed at protecting the person. Fear is our mental response to any external threat, whether physical or moral. But it happens that the usual phobia grows into something more - panic fear.
Everyone knows such a winged expression as "panic fear". The origin of this expression leaves itsroots in the days of Ancient Greece, when people thought that the god Pan at night was horrifying at all. It was on behalf of the god Pan that the word "panic" occurred. At the moment, panic fear means an unconscious fear that covers both the crowd and one person for no apparent reason.
Since the god Pan came at night, people naturally began to be afraid of the dark. From here also there was no-one's phobia-fear of the dark. But the worst part is that ordinary fear grows into horror, which can be subjected to each person. The reason for panic fear can be anything: a fear of heights, enclosed space, people and even death. By the way, very often it is the panic fear of death that persecutes people and prevents them from living a full life.
Of course, Panic fear never arises on a flat surface. His appearance is preceded by a longstay of a person in a depressed state. The suppressed psyche reacts very sensitively to any stimuli, so disturbing thoughts can undermine a person's ability to act. In addition, the state of anxiety gradually turns into neurosis. But accompanying neuroses despondency and depression become the basis for the emergence of panic fear.
Attacks of panic fear can not be foreseen or anticipated, because they can appear at any time. You can go public transport or be at work when the next panic attack begins. Panic fear is a protective reaction of the body to a threat, even if it is imaginary.
Panic fear manifests itself with the same symptoms as any other phobia: choking, palpitation, dizziness, trembling, stupor and chaos of thoughts. In some cases, panic fear alsomay cause chills and vomiting. Such panic attacks can last from an hour to two and repeat one to two times a week. The more upset the human psyche is, the more often and more persistent will be the attacks of panic fear.
But panic fear can arise not only inthe soil of constant anxiety, which completely suppressed the psyche. Also fatigue and exhaustion of the body can lead to attacks of panic fear. Numerous panic attacks have their name - vegetative crisis, which is a vegetative syndromedystonia. The syndrome of vegetative dystonia causes all of the above reasons. But also the list of reasons for the development of this syndrome can be supplemented with stresses, which are currently subject to every person.
Panic fear is often observed in emotionally unstable people. Since women are very emotional, attacksthey panic more often than men. Such attacks are primarily promoted by numerous stressful situations. But men are also prone to panic attacks that appear out of nowhere. Most often they suffer from people aged 20 to 40 years.
It is worth noting that Panic fear does not disappear anywhere, but panic attacks will continue. It is simply impossible to treat them independently. Some try to completely exclude the cause of fear, which leads to a stressful situation. On the one hand, this approach should help. But if you look at the problem from the other side, it turns out that a person simply tries to get rid of the consequences forever, but the reason for phobia does not eliminate it. Others try to cope with their fear through alcohol, but this approach only aggravates the state of affairs.
Without the timely assistance of a specialist, panic attacks will accompany a person not only in situations where there really is a place for stress, but also, when obviously nothing threatens. Only a psychiatrist will help cope with panic fear. This treatment, of course, takes a long time, but it is the most effective.
