Easter cake



To prepare two small cakes, you will need:




  • milk - 2/3 cup


  • yeast raw - 20-25 g


  • egg yolks - 3-4 pcs. (proteins used for glaze)


  • flour - 2 and 2-3 cups


  • sugar - 1/2 cup


  • salt - 1/3 tsp.


  • vegetable oil or cream (melted) 3-4 tablespoons.


  • raisins or dried apricots - 1/4 cup


  • orange candied fruit - 1/4 cup


  • vanillin


  • Nuts crushed (optional) - 3-4 tablespoons.



Preparation:



In warm milk (you can take water) dilute the yeast and add 1 teaspoon of sugar.



Mix a third of a glass of flour to the milk and yeast. The resulting spoon should be placed in a warm place until a lush foam is formed.



Egg yolks mixed with sugar, salt and vanilla, grind white. Add vegetable or melted butter.



Prepare the spilled poured into the egg-oil mixture and mix thoroughly.



Carefully mix two cups of sifted flour to make a soft dough that does not stick to your hands. If the dough is too liquid, then about a third of a glass of flour can be added.



The resulting dough should be put in a warm place to make it fit. Dough should increase in volume twice or even more.



It is recommended to cover the dough on top with a food film so that its surface does not become covered with a dried crust.



When the dough is suitable, put in it washed anddried raisins (dried apricots) and candied fruits. Dough put in a mold (pre-oiled and sprinkled with flour or ground breadcrumbs), filling them only up to half.



Put the dough with the test in a warm place, so that the dough once again came up.



When the dough is suitable, the forms are put in the oven,heated to 180 ° C. Bake until cooked. Readiness of the cake is checked with a wooden thin stick. If you pierce a ready-made cake with a stick, then there will not be any stuck dough on it.



Ready to pour Easter cake with protein-sugar glaze or sugar fondant. You can just sprinkle the top of the cake with powdered sugar.
