If a one-year-old child was still only timidly taking his first steps, then a child of two years must be able to walk well and try to run. In two years the child begins to contact peers, although the first contacts are short-lived. He may have his first "favorite" comrades-children whom he sympathizes more than others.

A two-year-old child remembers the names of close people, knows his own name (but at the same time can call himself in the third person), begins to realize his gender identity. Completely self-awareness of the child "wakes up" to three years, when he begins to use personal pronouns.

The skills of a two-year-old child at home are also improving. He begins to show a desire forindependence in everyday situations. A child of two years should know the purpose of cutlery and eat carefully, using a napkin and dispensing with a breastplate. The baby begins to show independence when dressing, although with some actions he still needs the help of an adult. Also, the child begins to exercise accuracy, removing toys in place (when reminding an adult), and is able to control their physiological needs.
