ImogenPicture of Shari Springsteen Berman and Robert Pulcini Imogen Is a comedy about a writer from New York who portrayed a suicide attempt to draw the attention of her former boyfriend and bring him back.

Imogen (Kristen Uig) - a talented playwright, she could achievegreat success, if not wasting their talent and their opportunities in vain. When we meet with her at the beginning of the picture, she practically sank to the very bottom: in order to return the former boyfriend, she pictured a suicide attempt.

After a failed fake suicide, Imogen is betrayed by her mother (Annette Bening) - slovenly and power-hungry woman, addicted to gambling. Now Imogen is forced to live with his mother and her friendly but narrow-minded boyfriend (Matt Dillon), who claims to be working for the CIA.

Due to an unexpected reunion with the family, Imogen is getting acquainted with her mother's lodger, Lee (Darren Criss). Lee is a singer in a cover bandhits Backstreet Boys. He is much younger than Imogen, but they quickly find a common language and become very close. Perhaps the sincere and young Lee is what the doctor prescribed? Perhaps it is he who will help Imogen to start a new life?
