Jam with cranberries and oranges


1. We clean the cranberries from the stems. We do this carefully, without damaging the integrity of the fetus.


2. We wash the washed and clean cranberries in a medium-sized pan and put them on the gas. We cook for ten minutes, until the appearance of characteristic "holes" on the surface of the cranberry broth.


3. We clean oranges from the peel and by hand, gently cut them with the same slices.


4. Mix the boiled cranberry "balls" with the crushed oranges.


5. For a more saturated taste, you can resort to the help of a blender / vegetable cutter and bring the consistency of the future jam to a homogeneous mass. The jam is better impregnated with sugar, but it looks like jam - without separate fruit-fruit pieces.


6. Add sugar and mix thoroughly, distribute to the banks to the very top and close. Another version of the cranberry jam can be performed with an apple "additive".

As in the previous recipe, in addition to the predominantingredients only need sugar. For one kilogram of sugar, 750 grams of cranberry berries and 250 grams of apples are needed, the ratio can be changed according to one's own taste.


1. We process our cranberries: we relieve the berries from the stalk and rinse thoroughly.


2. With clean apples, cut the skin with a thin chip and cut them into slices.


3. We expose the berries to short-term heat treatment: we place them in a colander and dip into boiling water for 3-4 minutes.


4. We repeat this procedure with apples, but already for 10 minutes.


5. We put the pan with cranberry berries on the gas and cook for 25-30 minutes.


6. 15 minutes before the cranberry is ready to be added to the pan, apple slices.


7. 2-3 minutes before turning off the gas, you can add vanillin, cinnamon and lemon juice.


If, the severe winter season is still far away, and tastyand useful jam already want, you can quickly and independently prepare a jam of cranberries. Five-minute out of berries is especially useful, since with this method of cooking, the lion's share of useful substances is preserved.


For this you need only three steps:


1. We wash cranberry berries and we will fill them with boiling water.


2. Put a pot of water on the fire. Gradually, as the water boils, add sugar. Must get a thick, fairly viscous syrup.


3. Add the berries, and wait until the water boils again, then turn off the gas, cool our jam-five-minute and ... eat.
