Fast jam (sometimes it is also called jam-five-minute) is prepared, of course, not for five minutes, but still it will take several hours to prepare it, but from the strength of half an hour-hour (including not only cooking, but also preparing fruits and berries).



In such jam berries and fruits retain their taste, color, flavor, form and vitamins. But keep a quick jam in a cold placeso that it does not deteriorate, and the shelf life will be less than the jam that was cooked for several hours.



Jam-five-minute raspberry



Raspberry is so tender a berry that it will not work for a long time at all desire - it will quickly boil and lose its "market appearance". But a quick jam-pyatiminutka of raspberries - this is what you need. To make it, we need:




  • 1 kg of raspberry

  • 1 kg of sugar


Raspberry and carefully dry it. Take the enameled basin, put raspberries in it and pour sugar on it. We give the berries a few hours to allow them to let the juice. Then put the pelvis on the fire and bring the berries with juice and sugar to a boil, do not forget to gently stir. We boil the jam for 5 minutes (hence the name - five minutes) and in hot form we pour into sterilized cans.



Jam-five-minute-old of black currant



Quick jam from the currant is as easy to weld as its analog from raspberries. For cooking jam-five-minute black currant we will need standard ingredients:




  • 1.5 kg of sugar

  • 1 kg of black currant

  • 1.5 tbsp. water


To begin, we prepare berries. For cooking jam, only ripe and large currants will do. Berries are washed with cold water and sorted, remove the dry cups of flowers and stems. Then the currant should be problanshirovat in boiling water (2-3 minutes) or hot water at a temperature of 90-95 ° (3-5 minutes).



From the water and sugar we prepare sugar syrup and bring itto a boil. In the hot syrup we lower the prepared berries, again bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes. Ready jam is poured into prepared cans and clogged with pre-boiled lids.



Quick jam from grapefruit



If you like exotic jam with an unusualtaste, you can try to make a quick jam of red grapefruits with mint. It does not even have to be cooked on the stove - it's perfectly cooked in the microwave. For its preparation we take:



  • 2 red grapefruits

  • 200 g of sugar

  • a branch of fresh mint or lemon balm

  • 0.5 tsp pink peppercorns


Grapefruit carefully and remove the zest from themwith the help of a sharp knife. The whole zedra is not necessary to remove, we need about one and a half teaspoons - for flavor (after all, fragrant essential oils are concentrated in the zest).



We clear the grapefruits from the peel, divide into slicesand remove from each lobule white film, leaving only the flesh. We divide each segment into three pieces. Fold the purified pulp of grapefruit in a glass bowl for a microwave, add sugar and zest and put in a microwave. Prepare the jam about 13 minutes (the cooking time can vary depending on the desired consistency of jam).



Hot jam overflows into the jar. We add pink pepper (if desired - for lovers of light spicy taste) and decorate the jam with a sprig of mint. Keep it in the refrigerator.
