Take a bottle or other glass container andpour black currant berries into it (it is recommended to fill berries half or even two-thirds of the capacity), you can add a couple of currant leaves, it is desirable at the same time that they are fresh, just collected from the bush.


Now you need to fill the black currant with vodka ormoonshine and very tightly clogged. Ready tincture will be after 3-4 days. To 1 liter jar or bottle you need to take300-350 grams of berries and crush them. Formed gruel should be placed in a liter container and filled with moonshine, add a little sugar if desired. The tincture will be ready in a week, but it is advisable to let it brew a little more.


The recipe for tincture of red currant on alcohol


Composition: red currant, currant leaves (up to 10 pcs.), granulated sugar - 800 grams, 2 glasses of water, alcohol. Preparation of tincture: red currant berries are added to the tank, filling most of it, then put the leaves and pour alcohol to the very neck. They are allowed to brew in a tightly sealed container for about 7 weeks. After this, the tincture is filtered, the berries crumble and squeeze the juice from them.


Alcohol is combined with the juice and addedprepared sugar syrup (sugar + water). All is well mixed, then the tincture should be filtered and bottled (preferably dark color), tightly closed and stored in a dry place. Red currant is noteworthy in that it takes a lot of time to stand, unlike black, so the more you store the tincture, the more delicious it will be.

How to make a tincture of currant leaves


Tincture on the leaves of black currant is verytasty and has medicinal properties. For its preparation, young currant leaves are usually taken, but the old ones can also be used for tinctures if they were collected at the beginning of the summer months. Use dark bottles to store and prepare tinctures.


Collection of leaves is made with good weatherconditions (no rain, dry weather). Leaves are placed on a sieve, carefully dust, slightly sprayed with water, and then spread on paper or cloth, giving a little dry. In clean bottles of dark color, add the leaves almost to the top and pour vodka. Then tightly clog and set for 24 hours in a warm room.

Ingredients: currant buds and vodka. The kidneys should be collected unopened, that is, where young leaves have not yet begun to appear. The amount of collected kidneys depends on what kind of container you will make the tincture. Rinse the kidneys, pour them into a dish about half its volume and fill it with vodka so that the kidneys are completely in it. The capacity to cover with gauze and put in a sunny place.


Keep in the sun for no longer than 1.5 months. Further, at the end of this time, the tincture should be filtered, allowed to stand for a while and then filtered again if a precipitate appears. Then bottled, sealed and stored in a cool place. It is noteworthy that the longer the tincture is stored, the better its taste.
