Home liqueurs from berries



You can prepare a liquor at home from almostany berries and fruits that are at hand. All you need is actually berries or fruits, alcohol or vodka and sugar. For homemade liquors, it is better to take vodka with a strength of 50 degrees and more or a mixture of forty-degree vodka and alcohol (75% vodka and 25% alcohol).



Raspberry liquor



Raspberry liqueur is very delicate and fragrant. To make liqueur from raspberry, we need such ingredients:



  • vodka - 500 ml

  • water - 500 ml

  • ripe raspberries - 1 kg

  • granulated sugar - 1 kg


From the water and sugar, cook the syrup: boil the water, carefully pour the sugar and cook on low heat, stirring all the time. Raspberry and put it in the ready syrup.



We pour out syrup with raspberries into bottles with a wide throat and insist in a warm (but not hot) place for 10-12 days.



After this time, strain the raspberry syrup and mix it with vodka. The resulting liquor is filtered and bottled.



Strawberry Liquor



Delicious liqueur is obtained from strawberries. It is good to add it to various cocktails, for example, "Strawberry Mojito". To prepare a liqueur from strawberries, we will need:



  • vodka - 1 liter

  • Strawberry - 1-3 kg

  • granulated sugar - 400 g

  • water - 200 ml


Strawberry, remove stems, crush(can be mashed with a fork in mashed potatoes) and poured with vodka. Tightly clog the dishes with the resulting mass and put in a warm place for at least two days. In addition, take 200 g of strawberries, pour 200 ml of water and two days in a sealed container.



Two days later merge into a saucepan of water, in whichlay a strawberry, and cook on its basis sugar syrup (as in the previous recipe). Strawberry tincture on vodka is filtered through gauze or a strainer and mix it with the prepared syrup. We pour out the liquor in bottles, tightly cork and insist for some time.



Cranberry liquor



If you like alcoholic drinks with a sour, you probably will like cranberry liquor. To make liqueur from cranberries, we will take such ingredients:



  • vodka - 500 ml

  • granulated sugar - 400 g

  • cranberry - 3 tbsp.

  • spices (cinnamon, cardamom, cloves) - to taste


Cranberries carefully kneaded in puree, piled in an enamel pot, poured with vodka, tightly closed the lid and insist for 4-5 days.



Cranberry infusion filter, add sugar to it and reheat it on a small fire so that the sugar dissolves more quickly. It is important to ensure that the tincture does not boil!



In the gauze pouch, add spices that you like. You can take one favorite spice, and you can experiment with the mixture. We lower the gauze pouch into the hot liqueur for half an hour.



We take out the spices, filter the liquor and pour it on the bottles. Tightly cork bottles with liquor.



Redcurrant liqueur



You can make a liqueur with sourness and red currant (or, as it is also called, wigs). To prepare a redcurrant liqueur at home, we will need:



  • red currant - 3 kg

  • granulated sugar - 800 g

  • vodka - 500 ml

  • water - 500 ml

  • currant leaves - 10 pcs.


My currants, we put them in clean dishes,add to it washed currant leaves. Fill berries with vodka leaves and put in a warm place for six weeks. By the way, instead of red currant you can take white.



After a month and a half, cook sugar syrup from 800 g of sugar and 500 ml of water (the way of making a syrup is standard, as, for example, in a recipe for raspberry liquor).



We strain the currant tincture, mix it with sugar syrup, pour it on bottles and tightly clog it.



Blackcurrant liqueur



You can make a liqueur not only from red, but also from black currant. To make a liquor from black currant, we will need:



  • black currant - 1 kg

  • alcohol or vodka - 1 liter

  • sugar - 500 g

  • water 250 ml

  • currant leaves


Currants are sorted, washed and kneaded in deep enamel ware in puree. Add the leaves to the berries, fill them with alcohol and insist for a week.



After a week, filter the tincture. From the water and sugar, cook the sugar syrup (according to the standard scheme) and mix it with strained tincture. The finished liquor is bottled and tightly clogged.



You can also make liqueur from fruit, sweet liqueur with chocolate, coffee or bananas, and even mint liqueur.
