Then drain the water and pour the berries with hot syrup. So leave the berries for 5-6 hours. Then cook them on low heat for 7-10 minutes. Remove the jam from the heat and leave it to cool. Prepare the jam in this way in 3-4 meals, then spread it over the jars.







Jam from apples and chokeberry



If you want a softer jam, you should try to cook it with apples. This jam has a beautiful red color and a jelly-like consistency.

Ingredients:




  • 1 kg of black-berry mountain ash


  • 400 g of apples


  • 1.5 kg of sugar


  • 2 tbsp. water


  • 5-7 g of citric acid


  • cinnamon to taste




Berry the chamois and rinse. Boil the water and dip the berries in it for 3-5 minutes. Cooked berries of black arctic mountain ash drop into cold water. In a separate saucepan, cook the syrup from two glasses of water and 500 g of sugar. Add boiled berries to the boiling syrup. After boiling, cook the berries for another 3-4 minutes. Remove the jam from the heat and let it brew for 8 hours.



Separately, prepare apples. They should be peeled, peeled and cut into small slices. Dip the sliced ​​apples into boiling water and cook for 8-10 minutes. Try not to boil apples.



When the berries of the black arctic mountain ash are insisted, againbring them to a boil, add the remaining sugar and continue to cook. Once the jam starts to thicken, add apples to it. Cook the jam for another 20 minutes, then add cinnamon and citric acid. If you have apples sour, then you can do without citric acid. Prepare the jam hot in jars and can roll.

Ingredients:




  • 700 g of black-berry mountain ash


  • 300 grams of pitted plums


  • 1.2 kg of sugar


  • 2.5 tbsp. water




Distant and washed berries pour for 5 minutesboiling water, then dip them into cold water. Throw the berries in a colander, to make them glass excess water. Separately, cook the syrup from 800 g of sugar and the remaining broth from the broth.



In the ready syrup, lower the berries of mountain ash andpeeled plums. Remove the berries from the fire, cover with a clean towel and let them stand for 10 minutes. Then add the remaining sugar and cook the jam for 10 minutes. Again, remove the jam from the heat, let it stand for another 8 hours, then bring it to its full capacity. Finished jam spread on jars and roll for the winter.

  • 2 kg berries of black chokeberry


  • 1.6 kg of sugar


  • 200 g of cherry leaves (can be more)

In the hot syrup, add the prepared berries of chokeberry and cook them on low heat for 5 minutes. Then remove the jam from the heat and let it brew (about 8 hours). Reheat and boil the jam, then cool it, and so on 2 more times. Ready jam pour into prepared cans and roll for the winter.
