How to make liqueur at home?The country of the Soviets offers its readers a few more recipes for fragrant summer liqueurs. In this article we will tell you, how to make a liqueur from apricots, peaches, plums, melons or pears.






Fruit home-made liquors




Pear Liqueur



To make this liqueur you will need the most juicy and sweet pears that you can only find. To make a liqueur from pears, we'll take:



  • pears - 1 kg

  • water 600 ml

  • vodka - 500 ml

  • sugar - 300 g


Pears carefully mine, clean, grate and transfer the resulting mass into a bottle with a wide neck. Fill pears with vodka, cork the bottle and put it in a warm place for 4-5 weeks.



Strain the pear tincture. From 300 g of sugar and 600 ml of water, cook sugar syrup (the amount of sugar and water is calculated per 1 l of tincture, if the tincture turns out more or less, you can weld more or less syrup, keeping the ratio: 1 part of sugar to 2 parts of water).



Mix the pear tincture with the syrup and let the mixture settle for a week. We filter the finished liquor and pour on the bottles.



Peach Liqueur



Peach liquor is used for making many cocktails. It's quite easy to make a liqueur from peaches yourself. To make a liqueur of peaches, we will need:



  • fresh peaches - 1 kg

  • vodka or alcohol - 1 l

  • sugar - 1 kg

  • water - 500 ml

  • cloves - 1 pc.



Peaches carefully wash, peel andtake out the bones (do not throw out the bones!). Mash peaches in puree. We rub mashed potatoes through a sieve, fall asleep with sugar, mix and hold for two days. Bones chop and pour 500 ml of vodka or alcohol.



Two days later we again mash the mashed potatoes through a sieve,pour into it 500 ml of vodka or alcohol and mix. Mix the resulting mass with alcohol, which is infused into peach bones, and add crushed cloves. We filter the liqueur, bottle it and tightly seal it.



Apricot liqueur



If you can make a liqueur from a peach, then, probably, it will be suitable for making home-made liqueur and its relative - apricot? Quite right! To make a liqueur from apricots, we will need:



  • fresh apricots

  • alcohol - 1,5 l

  • sugar - 500 g

  • water - 500 ml


Ripe fresh apricots washing, we clean from the skin,take out the bones (just do not throw them away) and mash in mashed potatoes. Wipe the mashed potatoes through a sieve. The number of apricots must be calculated in such a way that out of them came out a kilo of puree.



Half a stone is thoroughly crushed in a mortar. We put a puree with a wide neck and mashed potatoes, fill the resulting mass with alcohol and put it in a warm place for 2-3 weeks.



From sugar and water cook syrup, we cool andwe add in bottles with tincture. Stir thoroughly and hold for a week. Then carefully filter the liquor and bottled. After 1-2 weeks it can be drunk.



Plum Liqueur



Delicious spicy liquor is obtained from plums. To make a liquor from plums at home, we need such ingredients:



  • fresh plums - 1 kg

  • vodka 750 ml

  • sugar - 500 g

  • cloves - 3-4 pcs.

  • leaves of plum - 2-3 pcs.

  • vanilla - 1 pinch

  • nutmeg - 1 slice


Ripe fresh plum mine, take out of thembones. We fall asleep with plums sugar, we add plum leaves and spices. You can make liqueur with other spices or do not add them at all. We keep plums in a warm place for 10 days.



After 10 days, pour the plums with vodka and insist the resulting mass for 4-5 weeks. Ready liqueur strains, bottled and clogged.



Melon Liquor



Light melon liquor has a terrific aroma. Especially it is good in cocktails. To make a melon liquor, we will need:



  • melon of medium size - 1 pc.

  • vodka - 1 liter

  • sugar - 500 g

  • water - 500 ml


I wash my melon, peel off the skin and seeds, and cut the flesh into small pieces. Fold the melon pulp in a bottle with a wide throat, pour vodka and insist a week in a warm place.



We make syrup from water and sugar. Filter the melon tincture and mix it with sugar syrup. Ready-made liquor is bottled and sealed.
