Home-made liqueur: we prepare ourselves




Coffee Liqueur



One of the most famous coffee liqueurs isKalua, which is part of the famous cocktail B-52. If desired, you can prepare a homemade liqueur with a taste of coffee, almost not inferior to its "eminent" prototype. For this we take:



  • 700 ml of water

  • 500 ml of purified alcohol or vodka

  • 250 g of sugar

  • 50 g of good coffee beans


Meal of coffee beans in a coffee grinder (ready groundit is better not to take, because it has a weaker flavor than freshly ground grain). Brew coffee in a glass of water and pour into the jar along with the thick. Tightly close the jar and insist in a dark place for a day.



After a day, carefully filter the coffee. From 500 ml of water and 250 g of granulated sugar, cook the syrup (bring the water to a boil, pour the sugar and cook on low heat, stirring constantly). Mix warm syrup, coffee and alcohol or vodka, pour on bottles and insist another day.



After 24 hours, we filter our home-made liquor again and put it in a dark place to insist (the longer the better).



Chocolate Liqueur



Sweetshoppers probably will like a homemade liquor with chocolate. Light, sweet, fragrant - lick your fingers! To make a chocolate liqueur, we'll take:



  • 1.5 liters of alcohol or vodka

  • 1 kg of sugar

  • 500 ml of milk

  • 300 ml of water

  • 200 g of dark chocolate without additives

  • pinch of vanillin



Chocolate three on a fine grater, poured peeledalcohol or vodka, add vanillin and mix thoroughly. We insist on a dark place in a closed pot for a week. Every day you need to shake the jar well.



In a week we prepare the syrup from water, sugar andmilk. Mix the ingredients, heat on a small fire, stirring, until the sugar dissolves, and bring to a boil. We completely cool the syrup and mix it with the chocolate tincture.



Shake well the jar with the mixture and hold for 2-3 weeks. Then we filter our liquor and again send it to infuse. After 1-2 weeks, the homemade liqueur is ready!



Egg liqueur



Home-made liqueur from eggs can not only be drunk in pure form or added to cocktails, but also used for baking. To make an egg homemade liqueur, we will need:



  • 1 liter of milk

  • 500 g of sugar

  • 250 ml of vodka, cognac or rum

  • 6 egg yolks

  • 1 tsp vanilla essence


Add vanilla essence to the milk (you canreplace vanillin in powder) and bring to a boil. Whisk egg yolks with sugar until smooth and add a thin trickle into the hot milk, mix thoroughly.



Cook the egg-milk mixture on minimum heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens. It is very important not to allow the mixture to boil, otherwise the yolk will curtail.



Cool the mixture and gently enter into it vodka, rum or cognac. Thoroughly mix everything and filter into a bottle. We give the liquor to brew in a dark place.



Banana Liqueur



Another homemade liqueur in your piggy bank recipes. He has a sweet, but not cloying taste. An important plus of this liqueur is that it does not need to be insisted on. For its preparation we take:



  • 300 ml of vodka

  • 150 ml of milk

  • 2-3 large bananas

  • 2 chicken eggs

  • 1 can of condensed milk


Bananas are peeled and cut into pieces (ifthey are quite ripe, you can make a fork with banana mashed potatoes). Pour milk and vodka into a bowl, add condensed milk, eggs and bananas. Stir and mix thoroughly with a mixer.



Filter the mixture through a strainer, pour the liquor into a bottle and a decanter and put it in the refrigerator. You can serve the liqueur immediately, without insisting.
