The recipe for whey on serum



In order to prepare okroshka on serum, we will need such products:



  • 2 L of whey

  • 250 g of boiled sausage

  • 200 grams of radish

  • 5 potatoes

  • 3 eggs

  • 2 fresh cucumbers

  • greens (green onions, dill, parsley) - to taste

  • sour cream or mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice or acid, salt - to taste


Potatoes are boiled in a uniform, and eggs are hard-boiled. Cool, clean, cut into small cubes. The same cubes of chopped boiled sausage.



Greens, cucumbers and radish thoroughly and dry it with a paper towel. Cucumbers and radish are cut in the same cubes as potatoes, eggs and sausage, we chop the greens.



Cut the ingredients into the pan andseason with sour cream or mayonnaise (if desired, you can add a little more mustard), mix thoroughly. We pour in the pan whey (it may need a little more or slightly less than two liters, depending on the desired density of okroshka). Mix again.



Add to okroshka lemon juice or dilutedin warm boiled water, citric acid (1.5 tsp acid per half a cup of water) to taste, salt. Here the main thing is not to overdo it so that the okroshka does not come out too acidic. Once again carefully mix and put okroshku in the refrigerator for at least half an hour.
