Bananas in caramel
For the preparation of dessert we need the following ingredients:
- bananas - 4 pcs.
- butter - 100 g
- fat cream - 1.25 tbsp.
- sugar - 1 tbsp.
Bananas are cleaned and cut along into halves. We take a large heavy frying pan, put it on an average fire and melt the butter in it. Add the sugar and cook in the frying pan, stirring constantly, until it melts and gets a light brown color. Slowly stirring, add cream. Do not worry if the mixture starts to foam, it's normal. Cook the caramel for a minute, and then reduce the heat to a minimum. Halves of bananas are put in a frying pan with caramel and warm them for two minutes. This dessert is served hot. If desired, you can add to it a vanilla ice cream ball and sprinkle with fried nuts.
Bananas in caramel with whiskey
For this dessert we need to take the following products:
- bananas - 4 pcs.
- butter - 100 g
- soft brown sugar - 100 g
- Irish whiskey - 100 ml
Bananas are cleaned and cut into quarters (along,and then across). We take a large heavy frying pan, put it on an average fire and melt the butter in it. Add brown sugar and Irish whiskey to the frying pan. Bring the mixture to a boil and cook until the sugar completely melts. Add the quarts of bananas to the caramel and stew until the bananas are tender and covered with sauce. This dessert is served hot. If desired, you can add to it a vanilla ice cream ball and sprinkle with fried nuts.
