  • 400 grams of seedless raisins

  • 400 g of brown sugar

  • 375 ml of white wine vinegar

  • 1 tsp. ground spice mixture

  • 1 tsp. ground ginger

  • 0.5 tsp. cayenne pepper

  • 1.5 tbsp. l. ghee (clarified melted butter)

  • 1 pod of green chili peppers

  • 2 tsp. Sahara

  • 1 tsp. salt

  • 1 tsp. cumin seeds


Chili pepper finely chopped. Ghi melt and fry in it chiles and seeds of cumin. Mix all the ingredients and cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens and does not get a soft creamy consistency. If you like the safer taste of the sauce, you can add more sugar - about three quarters of the glass.



Banana chutney



A gentle consistency of bananas makes these fruits very suitable for cooking chutney. In principle, the recipe for banana variation of the sauce differs little from the recipe for chutney from tomatoes. We will need the following products:



  • 1 tbsp. finely chopped bananas

  • 6 tbsp. l. water

  • 2 tbsp. l. Sahara

  • 2 tbsp. l. ghee (clarified melted butter)

  • 1 pod of green chili peppers

  • 1 tsp. cumin seeds


Ghee melt in the pan. Finely chop the chili and fry it along with the seeds of cumin. Mix the finely chopped bananas, water, sugar and fried spices, cook until the sauce thickens and gets a creamy consistency.
