Squid with mushroomsEastern cuisine attracts us with itsexoticism. Japanese and Chinese dishes for us are no longer a curiosity - they can be tried in many restaurants and even cook at home. We offer you to prepare an exotic dish, the recipe of which came to us from the island of Sri Lanka - squid with mushrooms.






Squid with mushrooms



To prepare two servings of squid with mushrooms, we need such ingredients:



  • squid carcass of medium size - 2 pcs.

  • mushrooms - 100 g

  • onions - 1 pc.

  • tomato - 1 pc.

  • garlic - 4-5 denticles

  • chili peppers - 4-5 pods

  • vegetable oil - 3 tbsp.

  • fish sauce (us-plaa) - 2-3 tablespoons.

  • soy sauce - 1 tbsp.

  • lime juice - 1 tbsp.

  • glutamate sodium - 1 tsp.

  • sugar - 1 tsp

  • coriander - 1 beam



Carcasses of squids are cleaned, thoroughly washed,remove the chord (chitinous rod) and cut into pieces. For 5-7 minutes we put squids in boiling water, then remove from heat, rinse and let the water drain. Mushrooms are also mine, clean, we put boiling water for 5 minutes and let it drain. We cut the onions and tomatoes into cubes of medium size, and churn garlic and chili pepper in a mortar.



Vegetable oil is heated in a frying pan,We put squids in a frying pan and fry for 5 minutes on a small fire, stirring constantly. Add the onion, lightly let in and add the tomato. Lightly fry Kalmiar with onion and tomato, pour in fish and soy sauce and lime juice, add sugar and sodium glutamate.



Fry for a while, constantly stirring. Then add the mushrooms to the pan, mix thoroughly, put pounded garlic and chili and fry for 5 minutes. Remove the frying pan from the fire, add finely chopped cilantro and mix.
