Lemon hearts

Lemon hearts for Valentine's Day
To bake a lemon cookie in the form of hearts, we will need:
- 200-250 g of peeled ground almonds
- 125 g of powdered sugar
- 100 g of sugar glaze
- 3 yolks
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch baking powder
- 0.5 tbsp. lemon juice
- grated peeled half a lemon
- grease
Egg yolks pour into a bowl, add to themsugar powder and vanilla sugar and whisk the mixer at high speed for a minute. Add to the bowl ground almonds, baking powder and grated lemon zest. The exact amount of ground almonds is determined by eye - it will depend on the size of the yolks we took. Mix the homogeneous dough.
Sprinkle a board with a tablespoon of sugar glaze androll the dough into an even layer about 5 mm thick. We cut out the hearts from the dough. We lay the baking tray with baking paper, grease it and bake it for 10 minutes. The oven must be preheated to 180-200 ° C.
While the hearts are baked, we mix the remnants of sugar glaze with lemon juice - a thick, homogeneous mass should be obtained. We immediately cover the finished biscuits with icing.
