To prepare this cookie you will need:
- 450 g of flour
- 200 g of powdered sugar
- 125 g unsalted butter
- 2 tsp. ginger
- 2 tsp. light treacle
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- ¾ tsp. cinnamon
- 1 egg
- 1 pinch of red pepper
- 1 pinch of salt
Sift the flour, baking powder, ginger, cinnamon,red (cayenne) pepper and salt in a large bowl. Add chopped butter and sugar, grind until the mixture on the structure begins to resemble sand.
Pour molasses and beaten egg, stir untilAs long as you do not get enough thick dough without lumps. Roll a ball out of the dough and wrap it in a food film. Put the dough in the refrigerator for 45 minutes.
Heat the oven to 180 ° C and butterbaking tray. Take the dough from the refrigerator and roll it to a thickness of 3 mm. Cut out cookies with molds and lay them on a baking sheet. Bake the biscuits for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
