Banana-coconut balls



To prepare this dessert, take:



  • 200 g of flour

  • 100 g of oat flakes

  • 100 g of coconut chips

  • 75 grams of margarine or butter

  • 75 g of brown sugar

  • 60 g of fat cottage cheese

  • 1 egg

  • 1 ripe banana (the more ripe the better)

  • 1 tbsp. l. lemon juice

  • 1 tsp. baking powder

  • 0.5 tsp. ground ginger

  • 0,25 tsp. salt

  • oil for greasing a baking tray or baking paper



Mix flour, baking powder, oat flakes,ground ginger and salt. Banana peel, carefully mash with a fork until smooth and mix it with lemon juice. Lemon juice will not let the banana grow dark and lose its attractive color, and in addition give the ready-made balls a pleasant aroma.



Preheat the oven to 190 ° C. Pound the margarine or butter with brown sugar until a creamy mass, then enter into it banana mousse, cottage cheese and egg. Then gradually add to the mass of flour mixture and knead the dough with a mixer, turning it on high speed.



From the ready test, make a spoonful of balls,roll them in coconut shavings and lay them on a baking sheet, oiled or lined with baking paper. Bake the balls for 10 minutes until they are browned.
