Easter Ukrainian
Easter bread in Ukraine is called a paska orEaster. Traditional Ukrainian paska is cooked without raisins, unlike Russian Easter cakes. The top of the Ukrainian pasque is decorated with decorative stripes of dough, folded cross, "bumps", etc.






Easter "Ukrainian"



For cooking Easter "Ukrainian" you will need:



  • flour - 4 cups

  • yeast 50 g

  • butter melted - 0.5 cups

  • milk - 1 glass

  • sugar - 1 glass

  • yolks 10 pcs.

  • almonds - 1 tbsp.

  • salt - to taste



Preparation



1 cup of flour brew a glass of hot milk. Stir thoroughly so that there are no lumps.



In the cooled mass add yeast, dissolve them. After add the whitened yolks. Put the sponge in a warm place.



When the opara is suitable, add the remaining flour, salt and mix the dough for half an hour.



After that, add melted butter to the dough and knead the dough again for 30 minutes.



Add chopped almonds and sugar. Re-knead the dough for half an hour.



Forms fill the test to half and put in a warm place. When the dough is right and fill the molds completely, put in the oven for 1 hour.



Ready to remove the Easter, if desired, decorate with a glaze, colored powder or powdered sugar.
