How to force yourself to learn?

At school it is easier with this - in one degree or another there is control from parents and teachers. But at the university Your successes and failures - your personal problem. Therefore, students are more likely than students to ask this unhappy question: how to make themselves learn?
The reasons for the reluctance to learn mass. This can be lightheadedness,irresponsibility and lack of willpower (like a jump-dragonfly who "sang a red summer," and then paid for it). The reason may also be an unloved profession, which was taken under the pressure of parents or because there were no alternatives. And if the specialty is a favorite, the unwillingness to learn can cause general educational subjects that seem boring and unnecessary.
So, how to force yourself to learn, even if you do not want to? The first thing to do is change the way the question is posed. Saying "to force", we already meansubconsciously, I want to resist. So try to use a softer language: "How to start learning?" Or "How do I finally get to study?".
We need to start with motivation, because the lack of desire to learn is, in fact, a lack of motivation. Motivation can be different, you need to choose the incentive that is right for you. Someone is better influenced by negative motivation("If I do not study, I will be expelled"), someone needs more positive incentives. Someone will arrange a long-term positive perspective ("If I pass this session well, I'm more likely to get a red diploma and settle for a good job"), but someone needs a closer, more "tangible".
Having determined for yourself the motivation, take up the arrangement of the workplace. Learn, lying on the couch with a laptop,and it's comfortable, but it will not set you up for work. So choose a place where you will be engaged exclusively in studies. An important point! There should not be a computer, you can sit down at a computer only when it is really needed for study, at the rest of the time it can distract you. And that the place for study does not cause rejection, please yourself with amusing bright stationery.
Select in your schedule a clear time forstudy and study only at this time. Do not forget to alternate your studies with rest. They learned for an hour - they relaxed for fifteen minutes. Try to minimize all distractions - turn off your mobile phone and TV, ask your household members not to distract you. But light background music, on the contrary, can help focus.
A in the learning process try to use non-standard methods, which you yourself find fascinating. Draw up charts, use the method of associative maps (mind maps), colored pens and stickers - in general, try to make the study as interesting as you can.
Try to use for a better motivation the method of the carrot and the stick, or rather, the second part - the carrot. During the whole process of studying, make yourself "prizes", and the more significant the result, the more weighty"prize". Have learned the next 10 tickets - eat something delicious. The day was cleared - let yourself soak in the bathroom. Have passed the exam - buy yourself a pleasant trifle. Passed the session - go to a nightclub with friends. But "prizes" should only be for real achievements!
Often the main problem is not learning itself. The whole difficulty is to start, and then it goes like clockwork. And you come up with more and more pretexts,so as not to sit down for school, new and more important lessons. And one more evil enemy of the student is laziness, you also need to learn how to overcome it, otherwise each session you will think again how to force yourself to learn, but you will not think of anything.
Finally, there is another advice that seems most obvious, but very few actually follow it. It sounds very simple: "Learn throughout the semester, and not postpone everything for later". If you distribute the load evenly, the session will not be very different from the usual school days. Of course, you will have to sacrifice a couple of parties and gatherings with friends every week, but this will save you nerves and health. But it's up to you, of course.
