In general, cabbage is very popular in our country. We use it not only for salads, but also for second courses, first courses and even as a filling for delicious pies. And most importantly, cabbage at all times harvested for the winter: they were salted and pickled according to various recipes.







They did it in special wooden barrels andstored until the onset of warm spring days. And this is not surprising, because pickled cabbage retains all the valuable properties and vitamins. Following folk traditions, we want to offer you to make a very interesting harvest from cabbage with Bulgarian pepper.



Recipe for pickled cabbage with sweet pepper (photo):



Ingredients:




  • 3 kg of white cabbage;


  • 0.5 kg of Bulgarian pepper (red);


  • 0.5 kg of onion;


  • 0.5 kg of carrots;


  • 180 g of granulated sugar;


  • 1 tablespoon of salt;


  • 250 ml of sunflower oil;


  • 200 ml of apple cider vinegar.



It is important to choose a sweet and juicy varietywhite cabbage. You can even try this vegetable before buying and cooking, because cabbage sometimes has a bitter taste, and very hard for salting also does not fit.



Preparation:



So, we are preparing the container, in which you will needmix all the ingredients. It should be big enough. With cooked cabbage we remove the top leaves, my head under running water. Further it needs to be cut into pieces so that it is comfortable to hold in your hand. Shred cabbages in any convenient way for you.



Now we wash the carrots, peel off the skin,rub on a large grater (you can cut into strips) and send to cabbage. Sweet red pepper is also washed under running water, cleaned of seeds and cut carefully with straws. This ingredient is also sent to the previous vegetables. Now we will deal with onions. You can take both his white variety and red. Onions are peeled off the husks and cut into thin semirings.




Then add to the rest of the crushedingredients and immediately sprinkled with sugar and salt. All the workpiece must be thoroughly mixed with hands and slightly suppressed. You should get a colorful juicy "still life". In this vegetable mixture, it is still necessary to add vegetable oil and apple cider vinegar.



Then marinated cabbage with bell peppersonce again mixed. We spread it into sterilized dried jars. It is important to mix the vegetable mix in cans and close with plastic covers.   • 4 cloves of garlic.

  • 100 g of granulated sugar;


  • 60 ml of vinegar.





Preparation:
