Recipes of sauces

The sauce is able to give any dish a special,unique taste. Sauces are sharp and sweet, hot and cold, they are served to fish, meat, poultry, vegetables, sweet sauces are served to desserts. A harmonious combination of spices allows the sauce to emphasize the taste of the main dish. We bring to your attention several recipes of sauces, which can be easily prepared at home.





Tartar sauce"


"Tartar" sauce is a traditional sauce for fish and seafood.



To prepare the sauce you will need:



  • pickled cucumbers - 2 pcs. medium size

  • mayonnaise olive oil - 200 g

  • sour cream 4-5 tablespoons

  • lemon juice - 1 tbsp.

  • garlic - 2 cloves

  • salt - to taste

  • greenery


Preparation


Finely chop the pickled cucumbers. Garlic chopped. Sour cream whipped with mayonnaise, gradually adding cucumbers, lemon juice, garlic, salt. If desired, add the greens to the sauce.





Tomato sauce


Tomato sauce is one of the main sauces. It is added to pizza, served with spaghetti, lasagne, shish kebab.


To prepare 2 glasses of sauce you will need:



  • olive oil - 1 tbsp.

  • onions - 1 pc.

  • garlic - 1 clove

  • tomatoes - 0,5 kg

  • green chili pepper - 1 pc.

  • tomato paste - 1 tbsp.

  • coriander - 1 tsp.

  • salt. pepper to taste


Preparation


Finely chop onion. Fresh tomatoes are blanched, peeled and finely chopped. Garlic chopped.


Fry the onion in vegetable oil for 5 minutes, until softening. Add the tomatoes, chili, tomato paste and coriander. Add salt and pepper to taste.


The sauce should be left on the fire for another 20 minutes before thickening. At the end of cooking, take out the chili.
