Delicious recipe: calzone with vegetable filling
Do you like pizza? If so, you will like the calzone. A thin and melting yeast dough in the mouth will be prepared by even a beginner, who has just started acquaintance with culinary secrets. Juicy vegetables with delicate cheese perfectly complement the fragile shell. All you need is a little time and patience for simple actions. The result is a delicious dish that will decorate the table.
Ingredients:
Flour - 200 - 250 g
Yeast - 1.25 g
Water - 125 ml
Salt - 1 tsp.
Olive oil - 1 tbsp. l.
For filling:
Eggplant - 1/2 pcs.
Two sweet peppers
Bulb, a pair of cloves of garlic
Curd cheese - 70 - 100 g
Salt, pepper, spices
Cooking method:
Dry the packed yeast dilute in warm water. If you want to speed up their reaction - add a spoonful of sugar. Wait ten minutes
Pour a glass of flour into a wide bowl and add a spoonful of salt. In the groove made in the center, pour in the dissolved yeast
Stir the mixture with a whisk or fork and startknead the dough. Thoroughly knead the mass on the walls, fold in fragments and go ahead. The dough will be slightly sticky: gradually introduce the remaining flour, continuing to interfere
In the dough, pour the olive oil and again carefully stir the dough. It should become elastic, elastic and smooth
Finish the dough into a bowl, cover with a damp cloth, put it in a warm place for half an hour. The ball will increase in volume, will get a more gentle and magnificent consistency
Prepare the filling: chop the onion and garlic, cut the vegetables into cubes. Heat a spoonful of olive oil in a frying pan, salvage the onion and lightly fry it with garlic. Add the sweet pepper and cook until it is a bit soft
Add eggplant slices and continuefry. You can use any vegetables to taste: tomatoes, zucchini, zucchini, spinach. When the vegetables are ready, enter the cheese (Hochland or Almette) - if desired, you can replace it with cheese, hard cheese or Adyghe cheese. Add your favorite spices, salt and pepper
Remove the dough from the bowl, mash it and divide it into four pieces. Each part roll into a thin circular layer a couple of millimeters thick
Put the filling in the center of each layer. You can add cheese and greens to the filling
Connect the edges of the dough and firmly secure them orgive the workpiece a rectangular shape. Make sure that there is as little air as possible inside the calzone. Bake cakes in the oven, heated to 195 degrees, until the appearance of a crispy ruddy crust
