Original recipe: Black Larry cake
Chocolate desserts do not happen much. Another surprise for connoisseurs of dark delicacies is a festive cake with an amazing chocolate flavor. The secret is in lush and moist biscuit cakes, the intense taste of which is set off by a gentle creamy mousse. And if you add mashed potatoes from fresh berries - from the cake it will be impossible to tear yourself away.
Ingredients
Flour - 375 g
Cocoa (qualitative) - 90 g
Baking Powder - 10 g
Soda - 7 g
Vegetable oil (refined to choose) - 150 g
Sugar - 450 g
Eggs - 3 pieces.
Vanilla extract - 5 g
Milk - 150 g
Hot coffee - 340 g
Alcohol - 75 g
For cream: cream cheese (340 g) + butter (115 g) + powdered sugar (100 g)
Cooking method
Sift the flour, baking powder, soda and cocoa into the bowl, mix thoroughly with a whisk
Combine the vegetable oil and sugar, beat with a mixer until smooth. While continuing to beat, introduce eggs and vanilla extract
Introduce a half of the dry mixture in the mass of item 1, pour in milk, coffee solution (boiling water) and alcohol (any except wine)
Whisk the mixture at low speed, add the remainder of the dry ingredients
Place the dough in prepared forms, sendin the oven, heated to 180 degrees and bake for about half an hour. Test readiness can be checked with a skewer or by pressing on the biscuit in the center - if the cake springs, it's time to take out
Cooled cakes wrapped in a film and cleaned for several hours in the refrigerator
For cream: whip chilled cream cheese (Hochland or Almette) with softened butter and sugar powder. If desired, add dye or berry puree
Cut the cuts, shape them with a cutter or sharp knife, sandwich with creamy mousse
Decorate the cake with chocolate icing and fresh berries, decorated with golden food paint
