Prague cake
We suggest you cook a Prague cake with two types of cream. This recipe is different from the classic one in that, in addition to the chocolate cream, a light sour cream is used to make the cake. In order to prepare a Prague cake with dark and sour cream, we will need the following set of ingredients.
For biscuit cakes
flour - 1 tbsp.
sugar - 1 tbsp.
sour cream (20% fat content) - 0.5 tbsp.
butter - 100 g
eggs - 3 pcs.
evaporated milk - 1 jar
cocoa powder - 4 tbsp.
vanilla sugar - 1 tbsp.
baking powder - 1 tsp.
For dark cream
Butter - 150 g
condensed milk - 0.5 jars (if desired, you can use boiled condensed milk)
cocoa powder - 2 tbsp.
For sour cream
sour cream (20% fat content) - 0.5 tbsp.
sugar - 0.5 tbsp.
For decoration
chocolate - 100 g
We beat the sour cream with sugar. We add egg, condensed milk, cocoa powder, vanilla sugar and baking powder to the whipped cream. Thoroughly mix all the ingredients. In the resulting mass we sift the flour, once again thoroughly mix and add butter. Knead the dough, divide it into two parts and roll it out.
We take a demountable form for baking (diameter - 23cm), lubricate it with butter and cover the bottom with baking paper. Carefully put the rolled dough in a mold and bake for half an hour in a preheated oven to 200 ° C.
While the cakes are baked, we prepare sour cream,whipping sour cream with sugar. Ready cakes are taken from the oven, cooled and cut in half. Lubricate the cakes with sour cream. After that, prepare a dark cream.
To do this, add to the softened butter condensed milk (you can boiled) and cocoa powder. We beat the butter with cocoa and condensed milk with a mixer until a homogeneous mass is obtained.
Now you can collect the cake. Lubricate all the cakes with a dark cream, we also cover the sides and top of the cake. We put the cake in the refrigerator for an hour, so that the cakes are soaked with cream. Before serving, decorate the cake with chocolate.
