Lies to salvation

Of course, the "official" classification of types of lies is notexists, but in the creation of people, a certain division of lies into categories has already developed, and the boundaries of these categories are rather vague. Say, speaking of a lie for salvation, can mean both a lie for salvation itself, and a lie for good or a white lie. How do these kinds of lies differ from each other?
Let's start with white lies. By white lies resorted to if they do not want to offend or upset the person. For example, an ugly girl who rarely dareto say in the eye that she is ugly: they usually say that she is "very much nothing". This is a white lie. Such a lie is not always blamed, and in some cultures it is considered the norm. The white lie borders on flattery, but if the white lie is more a tribute to politeness, then flatter usually with a view to gain for themselves some benefit. Flattery, unlike white lies, is condemned everywhere.
In addition to white lies, there is also lie for the good of (it is also called a noble, holy lie). Such a lie brings benefit to the listener (that is, to whom they lie) or to society as a whole. For example, to lie to a seriously ill person in order to save him from unnecessary excitement is a lie for good.
What makes a lie for the benefit of white lies? If white lies reveal, this will bring only a slight inconvenience, and disclosing lies for good can bring significant harm to the listener or to third parties.
Finally, a lie for salvation, with which we, in fact, started the conversation. If a lie for the benefit of the benefit of the listener and / or society, then lie for salvation is beneficial first of all to the liar himself. Lying for salvation can pursue different goals. For example, if a criminal lies to escape responsibility, this is a lie for salvation.
Also to the lie of salvation refers lie to avoid major problems. This, for example, cheating on the exam: the student resorts to deceit, so as not to overwhelm the exam. Finally, sometimes one has to resort to lies in salvation in a situation where two evils need to be chosen less, and the lesser evil in this case is just a lie.
If everything is more or less clear with white lies and lies for good, then what about the lie for salvation? Is it ethical? Is it acceptable? The question is, in fact, complicated, because much depends on the situation.
It is clear that to justify a criminal's lies, trying to avoid responsibility for the crimes committed, no one will be, but in some cases, the lie of salvation is also a lie for good - just in the situation mentioned above the choice of the lesser of two evils.
For example, a person has to lie to evade participation in a crime. This is a lie for salvation, because in this wayhe tries to avoid problems that can overtake him if he decides to engage in criminal activities. But at the same time this is a lie for good, because such a lie can be useful to society: perhaps, because of its refusal, the crime will not take place at all.
As you can see, it is difficult to unequivocally judge the moral and ethical aspect of lying to salvation. Not only that the boundaries between white lies, lies for good and for salvation are very thin, so also the lie itself can be different: one thing is to deliberately distort the truth, the other -just hide some of the information. In addition, it is very difficult to understand whether a lie is the lesser of two evils, because it is almost impossible to foresee the consequences of all our actions.
Therefore, everyone has to decide for himself: whether to resort to lies in salvation or remain crystal honest. Anyway you need to be prepared to take responsibility for the consequences lies or honesty.
