Vanilla Easter




To make vanilla Easter, we need these products:



  • 600 g cottage cheese

  • 600 ml 30% cream

  • 1 tbsp. Sahara

  • vanilla to taste


Fresh dry cottage cheese twice wipe through a sieve. Then gradually pour the cream into the wiped cottage cheese. Gently mix the curd and cream, the resulting mass for 12 hours wrapped in cheesecloth. The ends of the gauze are gently tied with a knot and we suspend the resulting pouch - in the process of fermentation serum was formed, and it must be allowed to drain.



When the whey drains, add sugar to the curd.and vanilla, carefully mix everything. We spread a special pasochnik (a form for cooking Easter) with a damp, thin cloth, put curd mass in it, cover it with a plate and put it under a press for half an hour. After half an hour carefully remove the Easter from the pasochnitsa, remove the cloth from it and put Easter on the dish.
