Royal OmeletteThe best gift for Valentine's Day is breakfast in bed, cooked by own hands. As such a breakfast the sweet royal omelette with raisins (Viennese omelet)






Royal Omelette



To prepare four servings of this omelet, we will need:



  • eggs - 4 pieces

  • milk - 375 ml

  • flour - 250 g

  • raisins without pits - 100 g

  • granulated sugar - 3 tbsp. (with the top)

  • margarine or butter - 2 tbsp.

  • salt - 1 pinch

  • powdered sugar for decoration


We break eggs and separate proteins from yolks. We hang out the yolks with flour, milk, salt and sugar. Whisk the whipped in a thick foam and add to the yolks. Half of the oil is heated in a frying pan, pour half of the egg mixture there and sprinkle with half of the raisins washed. Fry the omelette on low heat. Then we shift the omelet to the lid, turning the frying pan over. From the lid again put the omelet in a frying pan and bring it to readiness. With the help of two forks, cut it into large strips and spread out of the frying pan. Similarly, we prepare the second omelet. Before serving, strip the omelette again in a frying pan, reheat it for a minute, sprinkle generously with powdered sugar and serve it to the table (or to bed).
