New Year's baking: gingerbread on kefirFragrant home gingerbread cookies, paintedcolored glaze, will help you create a festive atmosphere. There are a lot of different recipes for gingerbread, we suggest you cook for the New Year holidays gingerbreads on yogurt.






Gingerbread on kefir: 1 version


Here is one of the easiest and fastest recipes for gingerbread on yogurt. For their preparation we need the following ingredients:



  • flour - how much will "take" the dough

  • 500 ml of kefir

  • 200 g of sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 2-3 tbsp. l. vegetable oil

  • 1 tsp. soda

  • salt on the tip of the knife

For glaze

  • 200 g of sugar

  • 2 protein

We pour sugar into kefir, carefully mix it. Then add the eggs, soda, salt and vegetable oil, and mix well again. Gradually pouring flour, knead the dough consistency thick cream.


Sprinkle the table with flour and roll the dough into a layerthick in the finger. Gingerbread with special molds or a glass. (On the eve of the New Year it's better, of course, to get molds for the festive theme: Christmas trees, asterisks, etc.)


Lubricate the baking sheet with vegetable oil and spread on it gingerbread. Bake for half an hour in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees.


While biscuits are baked, we make glaze. To do this, whisk together two proteins with 200 grams of sugar in a steep foam. Ten minutes before the end of baking, we pour hot gingerbread on the glaze. Finished gingerbread cookies are taken out of the oven and wait until they cool down, and the glaze will freeze.


Gingerbread on kefir: 2 version


There is also a slightly different way of cooking gingerbread on kefir - in dough for taste we will add cocoa. To prepare gingerbreads according to this recipe, we take:



  • 1 kg of flour

  • 500 ml of kefir

  • 2 tbsp. Sahara

  • 4 yolks

  • 7 tbsp. l. refined vegetable oil

  • 2 tbsp. l. cocoa

  • 1 tsp. soda

For glaze

  • 4 protein

  • 1.5 tbsp. powdered sugar

Pour kefir into a bowl for dough, put out in kefirsoda. Separate yolks from proteins and beat with sugar. Instead of yolks, you can add whole eggs to the dough, but with some yolks the gingerbread will turn out to be more tender and crumbly.


When the soda is completely extinguished, add to kefiryolks with sugar and vegetable oil, mix well. Mix flour with cocoa, gently pour into a bowl and knead the dough, which will not stick to your hands.


We give the test to "rest" for 5-10 minutes,then roll it out into a layer 1 cm thick and cut the gingerbread with molds or a glass. We cover the baking tray with culinary parchment and put gingerbread on it. We put the pan in the oven, heated to 180 degrees, and bake the cakes for 20 minutes.


In the meantime, prepare the icing. To do this, the proteins must be beaten with powdered sugar in a thick foam (you can take sugar instead of powder, but it will have to be shaken for a longer time). Hot gingerbreads are covered with glaze with a special brush or carefully dipping in the glaze entirely.


Gingerbread on kefir: 3 version


To make gingerbread dough on kefir, you can use not only vegetable oil, but also margarine. This variant of gingerbread is prepared from such products:



  • 4 tbsp. flour

  • 1 tbsp. kefir

  • 1 tbsp. Sahara

  • 125 g of margarine

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tsp. salt

Marmarine softened at room temperaturegrind with egg and sugar. Gasime soda in yogurt, add kefir to margarine with sugar and egg and mix thoroughly. Add the flour and mix a not very stiff dough.


Roll the dough into a layer 1.5 cm thick anda glass or molds carve gingerbread. You can also pinch pieces of dough and form balls from them. We cover the baking tray with baking paper and put gingerbread on it.
