Cannelloni with meat stuffing

Cannelloni - a special kind of pasta come from, of course, from Italy. Cannelloni look like large hollow tubes, which can be stuffed with minced meat, vegetable or even sweet stuffing. Stuffed cannelloni poured sauce and baked in the oven.





Traditionally, for cannelloni, tomato sauce or "Béchamel" sauce is used.



Cannelloni with meat stuffing



To prepare cannelloni you will need:



  • cannelloni - 250 g

  • minced meat (beef, pork) - 500 g

  • tomatoes - 500 g

  • garlic - 3 cloves

  • Cheese hard - 150 g

  • salt, pepper - to taste

  • vegetable oil


  • Béchamel sauce:

    • Butter - 50 g

    • flour - 3 tbsp.

    • milk - 1 l

    • salt, pepper - to taste



Preparation



Peel and finely chop onion and garlic. Fry in vegetable oil until golden brown.


Tomatoes are washed and peeled (for this you can scald them with boiling water - the skin will be removed more easily). Cut the tomatoes into small cubes.


To fried onions, add minced meat and fry it almost until cooked.


Add ground minced tomatoes, add salt and pepper to taste and fry forcemeat for 10-15 minutes.


Prepare the Béchamel sauce. For this, butter melted, add flour to it and fry it a little. Pour in the milk, add salt and pepper to taste, cook the sauce until thick.


Prepare cannelloni. To do this, put them in hot water, so that they become slightly softer (do not cook).


Prepared cannelloni fill with cold meat (not tight).


In the baking dish, pour half of the Béchamel sauce, lay the stuffed cannelloni, pour the remaining half of the sauce. Bake in the oven at 180 ° C for 30 minutes.


After 30 minutes, remove the form from cannelloni, sprinkle with grated cheese and bake for another 10-15 minutes.
