Braised veal prawns
For cooking, you will need:
- 900 grams of shrimp,
- 2 heads of shallots,
- 0.25 cup vegetable oil,
- 0.25 cup brandy,
- 0.5 glasses of white wine,
- 1 pinch of sugar,
- 1 tbsp. a spoon of tomato puree,
- 1 tbsp. a spoon of butter,
- 1 tbsp. a spoon of wheat flour,
- cayenne pepper and salt to taste.
Preparation
- Shrimp washed and cleaned of shell. Fry the shallots in vegetable oil. Add the shrimp, pour brandy and set it on fire.
- When the flame goes out, add white wine, sugar, tomato puree, salt, cayenne pepper and simmer for 15 minutes. Take out the shrimp.
- Melt the butter, mix it with flour, add 3 tbsp. Spoons of sauce, in which the shrimp were stewed, and stir. Pour the remaining sauce, bring to a boil and strain.
- In the resulting sauce to shift the shrimp and a little warm.
