Pea soup
Peas are very healthy and nutritious. It is rich in vitamins of group B, carotene (provitamin A), vitamins C and PP. The composition of peas includes salts of potassium, manganese, iron and phosphorus. Peas are the source of one of the deficient amino acids - lysine. Peas are present in any therapeutic diet. Therefore, the dish of peas must be included in the diet. And to make a tasty and useful pea soup, use this recipe.
Pea soup
To make soup you will need:
- water - 3 l
- peas - 1 tbsp.
- meat - 300 g
- potatoes - 3 pcs. (medium-sized tubers)
- onions - 1 pc.
- carrots - 1 pc.
- bay leaf, pepper black peas, greens, salt - to taste.
Preparation.
Prepare meat - thoroughly rinse, remove tendons. Pour the meat with water and bring to a boil. To merge the water.
Peas thoroughly rinse. To peas cook faster, you can soak it in a small amount of water for several hours.
Peel the onion, grate the carrot.
Cut the meat into small portions. Add the prepared peas, onions and cold water. Bring to a boil, remove the foam. Reduce heat and cook for 1 hour.
After this, add the carrots to the broth and continue to cook until the meat and peas are ready.
When meat and peas are ready, add potatoes, spices, seasoned with small cubes into the soup. Cook until the potatoes are ready.
Sprinkle with greens when serving.
