Fried food on the menu of the child: how, when and how much
Fried dishes are loved not only by adults - their childrentoo adore. Not surprisingly - appetizing and crispy golden crust can give odds even to ice cream, soda and chocolate. Only here is what to do with the dubious nutritional value of such delicacies for the children's diet? The answer is simple - to observe the necessary rules.
Axiom one is expediency. Fried food should not be given to a baby until three years old - his digestive system is not ready for such a test. During frying, carcinogens and free radicals are formed in foods, and the number of calories increases dramatically. Yes, and a child over three pampering these dishes should not be more than a couple of times a week - this is more than enough to meet new tastes.
Axiom two is the correct treatment. Contrary to popular belief, butter is not the best choice for roasting. It loses almost all the useful properties with any sudden temperature increase, including deep-boiling. For the preparation of children's dishes, you can use refined oils (coconut, olive, corn), and put the prepared foods on a preheated and greased frying pan.
Axiom three is a reasonable alternative. For example, a grill: vegetables, fish and meat cooked on it, do not lose taste and nutrition, while becoming more gentle and juicy. If the grill is not on the list of kitchen gadgets - it does not matter. Products should be lightly browned in an almost dry frying pan, and then brought to the oven.
