Chicken ham
In general, a special ham is needed to make a ham. But at home you can do without it: chicken ham, cooked in a bag of milk, too, it turns out delicious. Why do I need a package? Now tell.
For cooking chicken ham we will need:
1 kg of chicken fillet
2-3 cloves of garlic
1 sachet of gelatin
Salt, spices, spices - to taste
It is better if the chicken's meat is taken from differentparts of the body - breast, chicken, etc. Chicken ham, made from only white meat, will be dryish. Therefore, you can simply take a whole chicken and independently separate the meat from the bones. Chicken meat should be cut into pieces 2-3 cm in size.
We put the meat in a bowl, squeeze garlic into it,add salt, pepper, spices. Then pour dry (!) Gelatin from the sachet into the bowl and mix thoroughly. We take a liter tetra-pack from under the juice or milk (covered from the inside with foil), cut from above and densely put meat into it.
Fill the package, firmly sew it up and put it ina pot of water. Bring to a boil and cook for about 1.5 hours. Boiling should be weak, not violent. We make sure that the water does not get into the box (you can wrap the box with food film for this purpose).
Pack carefully remove from the pan, cool to room temperature, and then put in the refrigerator for several hours. With the finished ham, carefully remove the box and cut the ham into pieces.
If desired, meat can be add other products, to diversify the taste of ham. It can be:
walnuts;
fried or pickled mushrooms;
olives;
prunes or dried apricots;
Bulgarian pepper;
canned corn;
carrot.
Generally, do not be afraid to fantasize, the main thing - do not forget to chop your supplements finely. You can use any spices that you like (paprika, bay leaf, curry ...), and instead of chicken fillet take turkey fillet.
