Cordon blue chicken
For four servings of cordon blu we will need such ingredients:
- chicken breast (fillet) - 4 pieces
- cheese - 6 slices
- ham - 4 slices
- breading - 0,5 tbsp.
- dry seasoning (for example, Provencal herbs) - 0.5 tsp.
- salt - 0,25 tsp.
- Ground black pepper - 0,125 tsp.
The oven is heated to 180 ° C. Form for baking lightly oiled or spread with parchment paper.
Take the chicken breasts and beat off every piece of filletto a thickness of 0.5 cm. Then sprinkle every beaten piece of meat with salt and pepper and put on top of each chicken piece a slice of cheese and a slice of ham. Then we turn each "sandwich" into a roll and fix it with a toothpick.
We put the finished rolls in a baking dish andevenly sprinkle with a mixture of dry seasoning and breadcrumbs. We bake rolls for about half an hour (until the chicken loses pink color).
After that, we take rolls from the oven andput on top of each roll half a slice of cheese. We put the rolls in the oven for another 3-5 minutes, so that the cheese melts, pull out the toothpicks and immediately serve.
Bon Appetit!
