Vareniki with potato filling


For cooking dumplings you will need:



  • for the test:

    • kefir - 400 g

    • egg - 2 pcs.

    • soda - at the tip of the knife

    • salt - to taste

    • flour - 2-3 cups



  • For filling:

    • potatoes - 500-700 g

    • onion - 1-2 pieces.

    • salt, pepper - to taste

    • vegetable oil for refueling




Preparation



To prepare the dough, mix kefir with eggs, add salt, soda at the tip of the knife. Gradually adding flour to knead sufficiently steep dough, so that it can be rolled out.


To prepare the filling, boil the peeled potatoes, mash it and mix it with the onions pre-fried in vegetable oil. Add salt and pepper to taste in potato.


Dough thin roll out, cut the round shape from the dough dough. In the middle of each dough mug, put stuffing, carefully cut the edges.


In salted boiled water boil the vareniki until ready - as soon as they come up.


When serving, pour the vareniki with vegetable oil and fried onions.
