Ingredients for cooking:

Step-by-step instruction




  1. We cut out the gutted and peeled carcass of the carnivore into thin pieces. We cut each piece along.


  2. Remove the spinal bones and get cute appetizing slices of fish.


  3. Take a deep bowl or other container and generouslysprinkle the bottom with salt. We spread the first layer of silver carp pieces, pour salt on top, then the second layer and also salt. The fish should be well salted and not be damp, so we do not save on salt.


  4. Then the fish should be pressed with a press - this can be a plate of a suitable diameter, on top of which we put, for example, a three-liter jar with water. Leave for 4 - 5 hours.


  5. Now rinse the pieces in running water and completely pour vinegar. We put it under the press for another 4 - 5 hours.


  6. After the time has elapsed, we remove the remaining vinegar and fill the fish with vegetable oil. Add the onion cut into rings or semirings.

How to marinate silver carp at home - step by step:




  1. We prepare the salt solution - we take 5 liters of water 5st.l. salt. We cut the fresh prepared fish into small pieces, put it in a container and fill it with salt solution. From above we cover with a plate and we set aside for 3 - 4 hours.


  2. We wash the fish from salt and soak the papernapkin or towel. We clean and cut with onions rings. Carrots can be rubbed on a "Korean" grater or simply cut into thin strips. Finely shred the greenery.


  3. In a deep dish we mix pieces of fish,crushed vegetables, add vinegar with vegetable oil, pepper and carefully mix the ingredients. We leave in the refrigerator - better at night. Then cut the pieces into cans, add marinade for carver and cover with covers. In this form, a fish snack can be stored on the shelf of the refrigerator for a long time - until the last piece is "destroyed".


  4. Before the arrival of guests we put the pickled fish on a dish, decorate with greens and put it on the table. Tasty and beautiful!

If you digress a little from the "classic" recipeand bring in the preparation of exotic notes, you get a fish snack from the carvery in Korean. The taste of this dish is a little bit sharp, with an oriental spicy aroma.




List of ingredients:




  • carp - 600 g


  • onion - 2 - 3 pcs.


  • carrots - 3 pcs.

  • vegetable oil - 170 ml


  • sugar - 50 g


  • soy sauce - 30 ml


  • vinegar 9% - 30 ml


  • Salt and pepper black ground - to taste

How to pickle carp - the way of cooking:




  1. We clean the fish carcass, mine, cut it in small pieces and put it in deep dishes. Pour with vegetable oil (100 ml) and vinegar, mix and leave for 3 - 4 hours.


  2. Cut the onions into half rings, and rub the carrots "in Korean." Garlic finely chopped. Soy sauce poured into a separate vessel, salt, sprinkled with sugar and spices. Stirring the components.


  3. After the required time, we take the pickled carver and combine it with the chopped vegetables. There we send soy sauce with spices.


  4. Frying pan set on a slow fire and warm up 70 g of vegetable oil. Then the fish, mixed with vegetables, for 5 - 7 minutes, put in a heated frying pan. Do not forget to stir constantly.


  5. Finished dish sprinkled with fresh herbs and served at the table.







Silver carrot recipe in orange-lemon marinade (with photo)



Marinade to fish can be very different, depending on the availability of ingredients at hand, as well as imagination. Prepare an unusual spicy marinade with a citrus "note".





Ingredients for marinade:




  • orange - 1 pc.


  • lemon - 1 pc.


  • ginger fresh (root)


  • seasoning for fish


  • fennel seeds


  • bulb onions


  • vegetable oil




The main ingredient is carp, washed and cut into small pieces (boneless).



We prepare in stages:




  1. Fish pieces are placed on the bottom of the tank, salt and sugar. Then lay out the next layer of fish, salt and sugar. Top with a plate and put a press. We leave in the refrigerator for 36 hours.


  2. When the fish has been soaked with salt-sugar, it must be rinsed and poured cold water again. We leave the carvery "in peace" for about an hour.


  3. We prepare marinade for carp: orange and lemon juice, orange peel. Cut ginger root, fish seasoning, fennel, a little salt - these ingredients are also added to the marinade. All carefully mixed.


  4. In the jar you need to put a couple of orange slices,pieces of fish and onion rings. Then again, the same components alternate. Fill the filled container a little, pour the marinade and add a little vegetable oil. It remains to cover and put in the refrigerator.


  5. Appetizing spicy pieces of silver carpets spread on a dish and decorate with orange slices and twigs of greens.
