The cake, decorated with a mirror glaze,overflows with all the colors of culinary skills. In the preparation of mirror glaze, there is nothing complicated, and the final result is simply fascinating.





Necessary ingredients:




  • cream fatty - 80 ml.


  • sugar - 150 gr.


  • gelatin - 10 gr.


  • cocoa powder or black chocolate -70 g.


  • water - 90 gr.




Step-by-step instruction




  1. Gelatin must be soaked in plenty of water for seven minutes.


  2. Take a small saucepan, combine cocoa in it with sugar and mix well. Then add boiled water at room temperature and cream. Mix again.

    On a note! If you use chocolate instead of cocoa, then the portion of sugar should be reduced to 100 grams.



  3. Put the saucepan with the mixture on a small fire, bring to a boil with constant stirring and let's puff for a minute and set aside.


  4. We'll remove the swollen gelatin, squeeze it and add it to the glaze. Stir until gelatin is completely dissolved.


  5. The glaze is almost ready. Now it needs to be poured into a small container with a spout, covered with a food film and put into the refrigerator for a day. Before use, the mirror glaze must be heated to body temperature, because in the cold state it is very thick.







Chocolate glaze for cake - step by step recipe



This is the most common recipe for chocolateglaze, which is often used for decorating cakes our mothers. Its taste resembles real black chocolate with a characteristic sourness. It is suitable for making cakes, as well as for making glazed curds or other delicacies.





Necessary ingredients:




  • Butter - 30 gr.


  • sour cream - 100 gr.


  • cocoa powder - 3 tbsp. l.


  • sugar - 3 tbsp. l.




Step-by-step instruction




  1. Take the saucepan or the smallest saucepan. Pour into it sour cream, add sugar and cocoa. We mix it.


  2. We put on a very small fire or waterbath and constantly stirring, we will wait for a boil. In the boiled chocolate icing immediately add butter and, continuing to stir, wait until it melts and connect with the glaze. We remove from the fire.


  3. Before you start the design of the cakechocolate glaze, it should be cooled. It is good because it thickens fast enough, but it does not harden, so even beginners can work with it.







White cake glaze - step by step recipe



White glaze is most often remembered whentime comes for Easter cakes. This is unfair, since the white glaze of butter is not worse than chocolate. The cake, which is decorated with white icing, looks more solemn and ideal for wedding cakes.





Necessary ingredients:




  • chocolate white - 150 gr.


  • milk - 5 tbsp. l.


  • Butter - 150 gr.


  • sugar - 2 tbsp. l.


  • salt - a pinch


  • vanilla sugar - 0.5 tsp.




Step-by-step instruction




  1. You need a small saucepan or saucepan. Chocolate is broken into random pieces and sent to a saucepan, add the chopped butter pieces.


  2. Then there are two different options. You can immediately pour all the milk, add sugar, vanillin, salt and put on a slow fire until the chocolate dissolves completely. If you act in a different way, then chocolate with butter must first be melt in a water bath and only then add salt, sugar, vanillin and milk.


  3. Up to a strong boil to bring white icing is not necessary. Once the signs of boiling appear on the surface, it must be removed from the fire.


  4. The glaze is ready. In a warm form it can be used for making any home baking. If you want your glaze to become similar to the one that can be seen on the pages of glossy magazines, then after removing the saucepot from the fire it should be put in a large pan of cold water, get the mixer and whisk for at least five minutes. The result is a thick white glaze, which is used to decorate the most solemn cakes.
