Step-by-step instruction




  1. Thoroughly wash the pork rudder and dry it with a towel.


  2. Mix juniper berries, salt, cumin and black pepper. Grind the spices in a mortar and grate the mixture with the resulting fragrant mixture. Send the pork steak in the fridge for the night.


  3. In the morning, prepare vegetables first. They will become a pillow for our shank. Wash and peel potatoes, onions and carrots. Cut potatoes in half, carrots into cubes, and onion rings. Lay the vegetables on the bottom of a deep baking tray, place the rudder on top and fill it with dark beer.


  4. Cover the form or baking sheet with foil and send the spinach to the oven, heated to 180 degrees. The baking time is approximately 1-1.5 hours.

  3. Grind garlic and add to it spices: black and white pepper, oregano, basil. Mix and add mustard and tomato paste. Again, we mix everything thoroughly.


  4. Cooked chopped curd, do a fewlongitudinal cuts and carefully rub it with a prepared aromatic mixture of spices. We put the pork handle in the sleeve for baking and we send it to the oven for an hour. The temperature regime is 200 degrees.


  5. We serve pork steak, baked in the oven ona pillow of potatoes with Italian herbs. To prepare the garnish, we peel the potatoes, cut the tubers into slices and add olive oil and Italian herbs, salt. Stir thoroughly and bake in the oven for about forty minutes at 180 degrees.

This variant of cooking pork shank inAn oven for those who like to eat deliciously, but can not tolerate long messing around in the kitchen. Everything is extremely simple, but incredibly tasty.   1. Let's start with the preparation of vegetables: Carrots, onions and celery will be washed and cut. We cut the vegetables fairly large, as we will not use them for serving on the table, but only provide a pillow with our help. We put the vegetables in a deep form, we place the pork rudder and the rosemary sprigs on top.

    Important! I must rub my shoulders and rub it with salt and spices. To make the meat of the shank more juicy, we cut the skin.



  2. Fill the form with a beer shank. Ideally, this should be real Bavarian or Czech beer. But domestic, the main thing is that it should be dark. We send rulku to bake in the oven for 3 hours. From time to time you will need to open the oven and gently water the rudder with a beer sauce. Thus, the meat will become more juicy, and the shank will get its own branded "tan".


  3. While shaking in the oven, let's take traditionalgarnish, which includes baked potatoes and garlic. Potatoes are mine, cut in half and wrapped in foil. Garlic is peeled and wrapped in foil. Approximately 15 minutes before the end of baking shoe we send the vegetables to the oven.
