Soup with coconut milkDo you dream of trying Thai cuisine, but do not have the opportunity to go to Thailand? Do not be discouraged - some dishes of Thai cuisine can be really cooked at home - for example, soup with coconut milk.






Soup with coconut milk



To prepare a Thai soup with coconut milk, we need to take the following ingredients:



  • 3.75 tbsp. coconut milk

  • 120 g chicken fillet

  • 3-4 chili peppers

  • 2 pcs. green onions

  • 2 lemon grass shoots

  • 1.5 limes

  • 1 tbsp. fish sauce

  • 1 tbsp. l. Coriander leaves + leaves for serving



Pour coconut milk into a sauté pan and lightlyheat, not letting it boil. Chicken fillet cut into strips, the lemon grass is crushed and cut into large pieces. We put strips of chicken and pieces of lemon sorghum in coconut milk, add a little fire, so that the milk is slightly puffed and cook chicken for about 4 minutes, until the meat becomes soft. Do not cover the sauté pan with a lid!



We chop the green onions with rings. Chili pepper is purified from seeds and finely shredded. Add the onions and chili into the saucepan with soup. We increase the fire for a short while, then remove the sauté pan from the fire. Squeeze out the lime juice and add it to the soup along with the fish sauce and coriander leaves, stir the soup. Before serving, we pour soup on plates and decorate with coriander leaves.
